Head of Turkish National Intelligence Meets Hamas Delegation on Gaza Ceasefire Transition
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ibrahim Kalin, the head of Turkey‘s National Intelligence Organization (MIT), met with a delegation from the Palestinian resistance group Hamas on Saturday to discuss the transition to the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
The meeting, held in Istanbul within the framework of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, included Khalil al-Hayya, a member of Hamas’s political bureau and head of its negotiating delegation. The Hamas delegation reaffirmed its commitment to the ceasefire terms and informed Kalin of alleged violations by the Israeli side.
Discussions also focused on creating the necessary for advancing to the second phase of the Gaza peace plan and addressing current challenges.
