Russian Forces Capture Two More Towns in Donetsk and Sumy Regions
Russia’s Defense Ministry announced the liberation of Sotlyaye in Donetsk and Vysokaye in Sumy, while continuing operations against encircled Ukrainian forces in Dmitrov.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian military units have seized control of two additional towns in eastern Ukraine. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that troops from the Center Group liberated Sotlyaye in the Donetsk region and intensified efforts to eliminate encircled Ukrainian forces in Dmitrov.
Separately, units from the North Group took control of Vysokaye in the Sumy region. Russian air defense systems reportedly intercepted significant Ukrainian weaponry over the past 24 hours, including four HIMARS missiles, one Neptune missile, and 118 drones.
