Ukrainian Soldiers Surrender in Sumy Axis as Russian Forces Gain Control
A group of Ukrainian military personnel, including a company commander, surrendered near Vysokoye in the Sumy axis, according to Russian security forces, who also reported significant Ukrainian losses in the area.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian security forces announced the surrender of a group of Ukrainian soldiers affiliated with the 119th Brigade of Ukraine‘s Armed Forces, including a company commander. The surrender took place near the Vysokoye area in the Sumy axis.
Russian authorities stated that Ukraine has suffered heavy losses in the ongoing clashes in this sector. Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that its forces successfully gained control over the Vysokoye region during the past day.
