Turkey Reveals Details of Iran’s Heavy Blow to PKK-Affiliated Pjak During 12-Day War

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler revealed that Iran inflicted significant damage on the Pjak terrorist group during a 12-day conflict, capitalizing on intelligence collaboration with Turkey. Speaking at a local meeting, Güler stated that Pjak and the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) had mobilized forces from Iraq into Iran, anticipating the collapse of the Islamic Republic amid Israel’s attack on Tehran.
Güler emphasized that Iran’s heavy military operations severely weakened Pjak, exposing the group’s true nature to the Iranian people. He further confirmed Turkey’s dismantling of the PKK, asserting that the disarmament process would proceed strictly under Ankara’s conditions.
The minister also addressed ongoing negotiations between the U.S. and Syrian Kurdish forces regarding their integration into the Syrian army. He noted a shift in American perspectives, with reduced disagreements, but insisted that integration must occur individually, rejecting the formation of separate Kurdish units within the military.
