Local sources report intense armed clashes in eastern Aleppo between factions loyal to the Joulani regime and US-backed SDF forces, marking the latest escalation in months of sustained conflict.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, violent armed clashes broke out in the Deir Hafer axis of eastern Aleppo between factions affiliated with the Joulani regime, Syria’s defense ministry, and US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) elements. Syrian media had previously reported that SDF forces moved military equipment from Al-Tabqa toward Deir Hafer near army checkpoints. Northern and eastern Syria have witnessed continuous clashes between Joulani regime elements and SDF forces for months, with previous ceasefire agreements failing to halt the violence.
