Israeli Minister Ben-Gvir Opposes Second Phase of Gaza Ceasefire, Demands Return of Remaining Captives

Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s far-right National Security Minister, has reiterated his opposition to advancing the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement until the remains of the last Israeli captive are returned, while also calling for Hamas’ disarm before any further steps are taken.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel‘s far-right National Security Minister and a staunch opponent of halting military operations in Gaza, has insisted that the second phase of the ceasefire agreement must not proceed until the body of the last Israeli captive is repatriated from Gaza. Ben-Gvir further claimed that no actions should be taken before Hamas is fully disarmed. The controversial minister also expressed hope that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would reject any Turkish involvement in the Gaza Strip.
