Palestinian Islamic Jihad Warns of Israeli Regime’s Annexation Plans in West Bank
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement has condemned the Israeli regime’s announcement of new settlement units in the northern West Bank and northeast of Hebron, calling it a dangerous escalation aimed at formalizing annexation. The group stated that these actions confirm Israel’s military operations in Palestinian cities and refugee camps are designed to seize land for settlements and erase Palestinian presence.
The movement further criticized Israel’s reported plans to revoke permits for dozens of humanitarian organizations in the West Bank and Gaza, following its decision to halt the operations of UNRWA. It described these measures as part of a systematic policy to restrict Palestinian life through a comprehensive blockade.
Islamic Jihad emphasized that these policies undermine all parties relying on negotiations and the U.S. role in addressing Palestinian demands. The group accused Israel of flouting international laws and agreements, vowing that Palestinian resistance forces and people will continue opposing these policies by all means until their defeat.
