Russia Downs Ukrainian Su-27 Fighter Jet, Reports 1,335 Ukrainian Casualties in 24 Hours
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the destruction of a Ukrainian Su-27 fighter jet, alongside reporting 1,335 Ukrainian military fatalities across various battlefronts over the past 24 hours. The ministry also stated that it intercepted and neutralized 168 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory during the previous night.
Russian President Vladimir Putin reiterated Moscow’s confidence in achieving victory in Ukraine, as reported by AFP. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy acknowledged that Ukraine is “10% away from peace” but emphasized that Kyiv would not sign any weak peace agreement merely prolonging the conflict. Zelenskyy warned that such agreements would only fuel further escalation.
