Irish Filmmaker Thanks Iran for Bombing ‘Genocidal Bastards’ in 12-Day War

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Tygh Hekey, an Irish filmmaker, writer, satirist, and activist, thanked Iran in his New Year messages on social media platform X for its missile strikes against the Zionist regime during the 12-day war. Hekey wrote, ‘Thank you, Iran, for making the best 12 days of 2025 for us—the days you bombed those grumbling, genocidal bastards.’
On June 12, 2025, the Zionist regime launched an aggressive attack by assassinating Iranian commanders in Tehran amid negotiations between Iran and the U.S. The U.S. also participated by deploying bombers to Iran’s nuclear facilities. Both actions were met with unprecedented and crushing responses from Iran.
The 12-day war ended with a ceasefire proposed by the enemy. Over 1,200 Iranian citizens were martyred in the blatant aggression, while Iran’s retaliatory missile strikes were met with global astonishment and admiration.
