Ukraine Launches Drone Attack on Russian Capital Amid Escalating Tensions

Russian air defense systems intercepted three hostile drones targeting Moscow, while Ukrainian drone threats prompted air alerts in Novorossiysk, as tensions escalate following a deadly attack in Kherson.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Moscow’s mayor reported that Russian air defense systems successfully neutralized three hostile drones en route to the capital. Russian sources also issued air raid warnings in Novorossiysk due to potential Ukrainian drone strikes.
Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency imposed temporary restrictions on arrivals and departures at Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports, though similar measures at Sochi Airport were later lifted.
These developments follow a deadly Ukrainian drone attack on civilians at a Kherson region restaurant earlier Thursday, which killed at least 24 people and injured over 50.
