Russia Blames Western Backers for Kherson Attack, Calls for International Condemnation
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia’s Foreign Ministry has issued a statement holding Western backers of Ukraine fully accountable for a deadly attack on civilians in Kherson. The ministry condemned what it described as a terrorist act by the Kyiv regime, which reportedly killed at least 24 people and injured over 50 in a drone strike on a restaurant gathering.
The statement emphasized that international organizations’ silence on the Kherson tragedy equates to complicity in terrorist attacks carried out by what Moscow terms ‘neo-Banderites.’ Russian diplomats asserted that such attacks demonstrate the Kyiv regime’s desperate attempts to survive following military setbacks against Russian forces.
Moscow strongly condemned all terrorist attacks by the Kyiv regime and called on independent nations and international bodies to denounce what it called the bloody New Year’s Eve terrorist attack against civilians in Kherson. The Foreign Ministry suggested that Ukraine’s actions aimed to divert attention from its military failures on the front lines.
