China’s Defense Ministry Issues Strong Warning Against Foreign Interference in Taiwan

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, China‘s Defense Ministry has declared that recent military exercises around Taiwan demonstrate its resolute commitment to combating separatist tendencies, promoting reunification, and opposing foreign interference. In a statement released on Friday, the ministry strongly defended the drills, stating that China cannot be criticized for actions taken to counter separatism and external meddling.
The ministry urged relevant countries and institutions to adhere to the One-China principle, cease support for Taiwan’s independence, and avoid creating tensions in the Taiwan Strait. It emphasized that no party or power will be allowed to interfere in China’s internal affairs or destabilize the region.
China’s military remains prepared to counter any provocative actions aimed at Taiwan’s independence, with the ministry identifying external support for separatist movements as the greatest threat to peace in the Taiwan Strait. The drills, which included live-fire exercises, marked some of the largest military exercises in China’s history.
Japan has expressed concerns to Beijing following the extensive drills conducted around Taiwan earlier this week. China, which views Taiwan as part of its territory, has consistently rejected the island’s independence and pledged to use force if necessary to achieve reunification under the One-China principle.
