Trump Issues Interventionist Statement on Iran Amid Domestic Controversy

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has adopted an interventionist stance toward Iran following domestic unrest over a controversial AI-generated video. The video, which circulated earlier, showed Trump wearing a crown and bombing protesters with a brown liquid from a fighter jet, sparking widespread criticism.
In a post on X, Trump warned that the U.S. would act if Iranian authorities violently suppressed peaceful protests. “If Iran opens fire on peaceful protesters and kills them with violence, America will step in to save them. We are on full alert and ready to act,” he declared.
Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, condemned Trump’s remarks, stating that his position, along with Israeli officials, reveals the true agenda behind the unrest. “We distinguish between legitimate protesters and destructive elements,” Larijani said. “Trump should know that U.S. interference in Iran’s internal affairs will destabilize the entire region and harm American interests. The American people must recognize that Trump is the one provoking conflict—they should be wary of their own soldiers.”
