Erdogan Labels Netanyahu ‘Pharaoh of the Era,’ Vows Continued Support for Palestinians

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has once again criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, referring to him as the ‘Pharaoh of the era.’ Erdogan emphasized that Netanyahu’s actions in Palestine and Gaza will not go unanswered.
Speaking to journalists on Friday, Erdogan highlighted the massive solidarity rallies for Palestine at the start of 2026, particularly at Galata Bridge, as proof that Palestinians are not alone. He stated, ‘The scenes of suffering among Gaza’s children and displaced families will remain etched in humanity’s conscience, and the cries of the oppressed will haunt those responsible for this situation.’
Erdogan also reiterated Turkey’s commitment to delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza and maintaining its steadfast support for Palestine. Additionally, he revealed plans to hold a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump next Monday to discuss the Palestinian issue and the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
