Fayyad Honors Martyr Soleimani’s Sacrifice as Highest Act of Honor for Iraq

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Falih al-Fayyad, the head of Iraq‘s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), commemorated the martyrdom of Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, describing their sacrifices as the highest form of honor and loyalty to Iraq. Speaking at a memorial ceremony, Fayyad emphasized that martyrdom transcends geographical boundaries, representing a divine selection for defending sacred values.
Fayyad stated that the two martyrs were sincere and devoted men who carried the banner of truth and justice. He condemned the treacherous crime that targeted Soleimani, a guest and defender of Iraq, reaffirming Iraq’s commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty and holy sites.
Reflecting on Iraq’s challenges in 2014, Fayyad highlighted the pivotal role of religious authority in protecting the nation. He pledged unwavering loyalty to Iraq’s religious leadership in defending the homeland and its principles. Fayyad stressed the PMF’s responsibility to uphold the martyrs’ ideals, ensuring the security and stability of Iraq.
