Former CIA Director Admits Mossad Agents Among Iranian Protesters
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mike Pompeo, former U.S. Secretary of State and CIA Director, publicly confirmed via social media platform X that agents of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency are operating among Iranian protesters. Pompeo stated, ‘Happy New Year to the Iranians in the streets and the Mossad agents walking alongside them.’
Recent peaceful protests over economic hardships in several Iranian cities have, in some cases, turned violent due to provocations by suspicious individuals. Iranian authorities have distinguished between legitimate protesters and rioters, emphasizing the right to peaceful assembly while accusing Israeli and U.S. intelligence services of attempting to steer protests toward violence and chaos.
Pompeo’s admission, coupled with recent interventionist remarks by the U.S. President, leaves little doubt that Israel and the U.S. are actively working to push Iranian society toward internal conflict and political-economic instability through heavy media campaigns.
