Palestinian Groups Condemn US Military Aggression Against Venezuela

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Palestinian groups have denounced the US military incursion into Venezuela and attacks on its capital, calling it a blatant manifestation of Washington’s imperialist and hegemonic policies. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, in a statement, described the US aggression as a hostile and escalating act, extending from a naval blockade to direct military assaults. The movement emphasized that such actions reveal America’s true intent to impose dominance, occupation, and control over nations through force and violence.
The statement further noted that the invasion of Venezuela constitutes a clear violation of international law and national sovereignty, representing a continuation of imperialist policies aimed at plundering resources and suppressing the will of nations. Islamic Jihad asserted that targeting Venezuela is punishment for its principled and historical stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and backing resistance movements. The group also framed Venezuela’s struggle for freedom and independent decision-making as part of a broader regional battle against neo-colonialism, expressing full solidarity with the legitimate government of Venezuela led by Nicolás Maduro.
Islamic Jihad called on all nations and freedom-seeking movements worldwide to stand against this aggression and defend the principle of national sovereignty and self-determination. Meanwhile, Hamas condemned the US invasion of Venezuela and the abduction of its president, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, describing it as a dangerous breach of international law and a blatant assault on the sovereignty of an independent nation. Hamas urged the international community, the United Nations, and its affiliated bodies, particularly the Security Council, to take decisive action against Washington’s aggressive policies and immediately halt the military attack on Venezuela.
In a related development, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) also criticized the US imperialist aggression against Venezuela, calling it a new chapter in America’s organized terrorism against independent nations. The PFLP dismissed pretexts such as combating trafficking or supporting democracy as mere covers for looting resources and undermining Venezuela’s political autonomy. Drawing parallels between this aggression and the policies of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people, the PFLP warned that continued US military adventurism could ignite new global crises. The group expressed confidence that Venezuela, relying on the will of its people, would overcome this challenge with strength.
