Hezbollah Secretary-General Praises Qasem Soleimani’s Military and Political Acumen on Sixth Anniversary of His Martyrdom
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem delivered a speech marking the sixth anniversary of the martyrdom of Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, alongside their fellow martyrs. The address also coincided with the anniversary of the birth of Imam Ali (AS), whom Qassem described as a just and ascendant leader who removed corrupt rulers.
Qassem emphasized Soleimani’s rapid rise through various positions due to his distinguished qualities. The martyred commander possessed remarkable military competence and was committed to continuous training and advancement. During the eight-year Iran-Iraq War, Soleimani fought on the front lines of the Sacred Defense, demonstrating both military and political awareness. He was known for analyzing events and taking decisive action.
Qassem revealed that he had written a book titled ‘The Successor of God,’ which he dedicated to Soleimani. Two weeks after presenting it, they met to discuss its contents.
