According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has extended his congratulations to U.S. President Donald Trump following the American military intervention in Venezuela, which resulted in the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife. Netanyahu, seemingly elated by the aggressive move, sent a message to Trump, stating, ‘President Trump, I congratulate you for your bold and historic leadership in the pursuit of freedom and justice.’
The Israeli leader further lauded Trump’s resolve and the skillful execution by U.S. military forces, adding, ‘I salute your unwavering determination and the masterful work of your brave soldiers.’
Netanyahu’s endorsement of the U.S. operation comes as Maduro has been a vocal supporter of the Palestinian cause and a staunch opponent of Israel’s occupation policies in Palestine.
