Trump Threatens Venezuela with Second Wave of Attacks Amid Rising Tensions

U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Venezuela of a ‘much larger’ second wave of actions, while Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez reaffirmed the country’s readiness to defend its sovereignty.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Venezuela, threatening a second wave of actions that he claims will be “much larger” than the first. In an interview with the New York Post, Trump asserted that Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez fully understands the gravity of the situation.

Trump emphasized that U.S. military intervention in Venezuela would not be necessary if Vice President Rodríguez complies with Washington’s demands. He also dismissed the need for military action in Cuba, predicting that the regime there would collapse on its own. The President further claimed that many Cubans lost their lives last night after expressing support for Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.

These remarks came shortly after Vice President Rodríguez, in a televised address from Caracas, demanded the release of President Maduro and his wife, who are currently detained. She firmly stated that Venezuela would not become a colony of any nation and called for unity among Venezuelans to defend their homeland.

Standing alongside Venezuela’s foreign and defense ministers, Rodríguez declared the country’s readiness to confront any challenge with full force. She reiterated the government’s commitment to preventing any military aggression and condemned the violence recently directed against Venezuela.
