UN Security Council to Convene Emergency Session on US Aggression Against Venezuela

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the UN Security Council is set to convene an emergency session on Monday to discuss the alleged US aggression against Venezuela, including the reported abduction of President Nicolas Maduro. The meeting was requested by Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Gil Pinto, who formally appealed to the United Nations, labeling the US actions as a violation of Venezuela’s sovereignty and national security.

Russian UN Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia confirmed the session, emphasizing the urgency of addressing the situation. The development comes amid escalating tensions between Venezuela and the US, with Caracas accusing Washington of direct interference in its internal affairs.
