CBS News reported the transfer, while NBC News cited U.S. officials stating that Maduro is expected to appear in court as early as Monday night.
The Wall Street Journal, quoting a U.S. official, revealed that President Donald Trump is pushing for Maduro’s arraignment to proceed swiftly. This development follows Trump’s announcement of a successful large-scale operation against Venezuela, claiming the arrest of Maduro and his wife, which has sparked widespread international condemnation.
