UK and France Conduct Joint Airstrike on ISIS Underground Facility in Syria
British and French forces launched a coordinated airstrike targeting an underground facility near Palmyra, Syria, believed to be under ISIS control, with preliminary assessments confirming successful destruction and no civilian casualties.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the UK Ministry of Defense announced that Royal Air Force jets, alongside French fighter aircraft, carried out a joint aerial operation against an underground installation near the Syrian city of Palmyra. The targeted facility, located in mountainous terrain several miles north of Palmyra, was assessed to be under the control of the terrorist group ISIS. Initial evaluations indicate the structure was successfully destroyed with no evidence of civilian harm.
