Kamala Harris Warns Americans Will Pay for Trump’s Reckless Venezuela Policy
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has strongly condemned President Donald Trump’s recent military operation in Venezuela, which resulted in the arrest of the country’s legitimate leader, Nicolas Maduro, and his wife, along with dozens of casualties.
In a post on social media platform X, Harris stated, “We’ve seen this movie before. Regime change wars for oil that start with saber-rattling but end in chaos – with American families footing the bill.” She emphasized that Trump’s actions neither make America safer nor stronger.
The former vice president described the intervention as both “illegal” and “unwise,” noting it endangers U.S. troops, wastes billions of dollars, destabilizes the Caribbean region, and lacks any legal justification, exit strategy, or clear national interest. Harris asserted the operation relates to oil and Trump’s desire to play regional dictator, adding that Americans are tired of the lies and don’t want this intervention.
