China Demands Immediate Release of Venezuela’s President Maduro

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, China‘s Foreign Ministry issued a statement demanding the U.S. immediately release Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, emphasizing the need to resolve conflicts through dialogue and negotiation.
The statement stressed that the U.S. must guarantee the personal safety of Maduro and his spouse, condemning their abduction as a violation of international law and norms.
The U.S. reportedly seized Maduro and his wife during a raid on Venezuela on Friday night, an action widely criticized by various nations as breaching the U.N. Charter and international law.
Amid Washington’s threats of further attacks on Caracas, Maduro’s vice president has reaffirmed Venezuela’s commitment to resisting U.S. imperialism.
