Iraqi President Honors Martyrs, Stresses National Unity and Security

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid paid tribute to the martyrs who fought against terrorism, stating that their heroism forms the foundation of Iraq’s current achievements. Speaking at a ceremony honoring the victorious commanders, Rashid underscored the national and moral duty to preserve the memory of these sacrifices for future generations.
Rashid emphasized that the martyrs’ legacy must serve as a perpetual motivation to strengthen governance institutions and social justice in Iraq. He affirmed that the blood shed in the fight against terrorism remains alive in the conscience of the Iraqi people and should never be overlooked under any circumstances.
The President also highlighted Iraq’s progress toward enhancing security and stability, noting that forming an inclusive government following the parliamentary elections is among the nation’s most critical missions.
