Tunisia Hosts Mass Rally Honoring Martyred Hamas Spokesman Abu Obaida

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a large rally was held in central Tunis to honor Abu Obaida, the martyred former spokesman of Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades, and express support for Gaza. The event, organized by the Ansar Palestine Association, brought together activists, politicians, and members of Palestinian and Arab youth groups.
Participants raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of resistance, emphasizing continued popular solidarity with Gaza against Israeli aggression. Murad Al-Yaacoubi, head of the Ansar Palestine Association, stated that the war on Gaza has not ended but has taken other forms. He accused calls for a ceasefire of being attempts to relieve pressure and divert international attention from Gaza.
Al-Yaacoubi described Abu Obaida’s martyrdom as a powerful symbol for resistance movements, noting the former spokesman achieved the martyrdom he had anticipated. The rally featured speeches by Tunisian and Palestinian activists stressing the need for continued Arab support for Palestinians and increased pressure on Zionist occupiers to stop their crimes in Gaza.
Images and videos of Palestinian confrontations with occupying forces were displayed to raise awareness of the humanitarian suffering in Gaza.
