Venezuelan Defense Minister Announces Mobilization of Armed Forces Following US Operation
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez announced on Sunday that a large number of President Nicolas Maduro’s security personnel were killed during a US military operation. Lopez further declared that the country’s armed forces have been mobilized across Venezuela to ensure national sovereignty.
The escalation follows months of US military movements in the Caribbean Sea. In the early hours of Saturday, US armed forces, under President Donald Trump’s orders, launched a direct incursion into Venezuelan territory, reportedly conducting heavy missile strikes on several key military installations.
Simultaneously, the US President confirmed that Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and his wife were captured during a special operation.
