Venezuela Forms Special Commission to Secure Release of President Maduro

Venezuela’s parliament has established a special commission to pursue the release of President Nicolas Maduro, following his alleged abduction during a U.S. military incursion, sparking international condemnation.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Venezuela‘s Minister of Communications announced the formation of a special parliamentary commission to secure the release of President Nicolas Maduro. The commission was established during a cabinet meeting by the interim president to coordinate efforts for Maduro’s freedom, along with that of his wife.

The alleged abduction of Maduro and his spouse during a U.S. military operation in Venezuela has drawn widespread criticism from nations globally. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council, likened the incident to ‘Wild West tactics’ and condemned it as unlawful.
