Venezuelans Hold Mass Protests Against US, Demand Release of Nicolas Maduro

Thousands of Venezuelans took to the streets across the country, including Caracas, demanding the release of President Nicolas Maduro, who was recently abducted in a US-led operation.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Venezuelan protesters flooded the streets of Caracas and other cities, holding images of President Nicolas Maduro and calling for his immediate release. Demonstrators condemned the US for its alleged abduction of Maduro, framing it as a violation of international law.

The protesters praised Maduro’s composure during his detention by US forces, describing it as an inspiration for continued resistance against American imperialism. Many also denounced Washington’s efforts to control Venezuela’s oil resources, reaffirming their support for the Caracas government in the face of pressure from US President Donald Trump.

International observers have labeled the US operation in Venezuela as a breach of the UN Charter. Analysts suggest that Trump’s ultimate goal is to seize control of Venezuela’s vast oil reserves by forcing the government into submission.
