Israeli Drone Strikes Vehicle in Southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh

An Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the town of Bariqa, southern Lebanon, as tensions escalate with repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, an Israeli drone struck a vehicle in the town of Bariqa, located in southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh region. Lebanese sources reported the attack, which marks another violation of the ceasefire agreement established last year between Lebanon and Israel.

Details of the incident remain scarce, but Lebanese media confirmed the strike occurred amid heightened tensions. Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes were reported flying over the Hasbaya and Arqoub regions, as well as the Shebaa Farms.

The latest aggression by Israel follows a pattern of repeated breaches of the truce, which was intended to halt hostilities between the two sides. Over a year since the agreement, Lebanon continues to face daily violations, with Israel pushing forward, backed by the U.S., to pressure Beirut into disarming Hezbollah.
