Russia Condemns U.S. Aggression in Venezuela, Demands Immediate Release of Maduro

Russia’s UN envoy Vasily Nebenzya condemned U.S. actions in Venezuela as a violation of international law during a Security Council meeting, calling for the immediate release of President Maduro and his wife.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia has strongly condemned the United States’ intervention in Venezuela, labeling it a blatant violation of international norms. During a UN Security Council meeting on Monday, Russian Ambassador Vasily Nebenzya stated that U.S. hegemony forcibly impacts dozens of nations worldwide.

Nebenzya emphasized that Moscow denounces America’s aggression against Venezuela, which contravenes all established international legal standards. The Russian diplomat urged U.S. authorities to immediately release the legitimately elected president of the sovereign nation and his spouse.

The ambassador further asserted there exists no justification for Washington’s actions in Caracas, stressing that international conflicts must be resolved through dialogue rather than force.
