Erdogan Warns Trump Against Destabilizing Venezuela in Phone Call

He emphasized Turkey’s efforts to pursue the best course of action for both Turkey and the people of Venezuela.
Erdogan revealed that during his phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump, he conveyed Turkey’s concerns regarding developments in Venezuela and stressed that the South American nation must not be driven into instability. The Turkish leader warned that violating countries’ sovereign rights and disregarding international law are dangerous steps that could lead to severe global consequences and complications.
Expressing solidarity with Venezuela, Erdogan affirmed that Turkey and its people will continue to stand by Venezuela in its pursuit of prosperity, peace, and development.
