Brazilian Protesters Burn US Flag in Rio de Janeiro Over Venezuela Intervention
Demonstrators in Rio de Janeiro condemned the US military intervention in Venezuela and the abduction of President Nicolas Maduro, setting fire to an American flag outside the US consulate.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Brazilian citizens staged a demonstration in Rio de Janeiro, protesting the US military attack on Venezuela and the abduction of its President, Nicolas Maduro. Protesters, holding placards and chanting slogans against Washington’s policies, burned an American flag in front of the US consulate.
US forces carried out an illegal international operation on Saturday, invading Venezuela and forcibly removing the country’s legitimate president, transporting him to US soil. The incident has sparked widespread protests in Venezuela and across the globe.
