The development comes as Saudi Arabia has recently expelled Emirati-aligned Southern Transitional Council forces from both Al-Mahra and Hadramout provinces, strengthening Riyadh’s influence in eastern Yemen. The move marks a significant shift in the regional power struggle, with Saudi Arabia advancing its strategic position against the UAE in the ongoing conflict.
