Trump Sets Conditions for Maduro’s Successor in Venezuela

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. government, under President Donald Trump, has issued demands to Delcy Rodríguez, Venezuela‘s interim president and designated successor to Nicolás Maduro, to cease oil exports to countries hostile to American interests. A POLITICO report revealed that Washington also insists on the removal of Iranian and Cuban-linked elements, along with anti-U.S. networks, from Venezuelan territory.
Additionally, President Trump has reportedly urged Rodríguez to intensify efforts against drug trafficking operations. These demands come amid widespread international condemnation of the U.S.’s unlawful military incursion into Venezuela and the abduction of its lawfully elected president. Even U.S. senators have criticized these actions, sparking a wave of global disapproval.
