Trump’s Deputy Claims Greenland Belongs to the United States

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a top aide to U.S. President Donald Trump has declared that Greenland is American territory. The statement, reported by The New York Times and cited by Russia Al-Youm, underscores the Trump administration’s assertive stance on territorial claims.
The official further claimed that the U.S. government could acquire the region if it desired. This follows President Trump’s earlier remarks in an interview with The Atlantic, where he stated that America needs Greenland after Venezuela, suggesting Caracas might not be the last target of Washington’s interventions.
Analysts view this as another example of the U.S. administration’s pressure tactics in strategically sensitive regions. Denmark and the UK have already responded critically to these claims.
