Israeli Forces Storm Birzeit University, Injure Students and Journalists
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli forces violently stormed Birzeit University in the northern West Bank city of Ramallah, deploying tear gas and live rounds against students. Palestinian sources reported multiple injuries, with one student shot and others suffering from tear gas inhalation.
The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that Israeli occupation forces blocked emergency medical teams from reaching wounded students. Journalists covering the assault, Karim Khumaiseh and Mu’tasim Saqfalhait, were reportedly beaten by Israeli soldiers during the raid.
At least three injuries have been documented so far in the ongoing military operation, which saw occupation forces seal off university entrances before launching the attack.
