Syrian Army and QSD Forces Clash Near Sheikh Maqsoud in Aleppo
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, escalating clashes between Syrian Army forces and the QSD (Syrian Democratic Forces) have been reported near the Sheikh Maqsoud roundabout in Aleppo. Sources indicate that the QSD has targeted several areas in Aleppo with mortar fire, while Syrian state media has documented sniper assaults in the Al-Ashrafiyah and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods.
Local sources affiliated with the Syrian opposition have urged residents to avoid conflict zones, particularly Al-Ashrafiyah and Sheikh Maqsoud, due to the heightened violence. An Al Jazeera correspondent confirmed intense fighting in northern Aleppo, with civilian safety at risk.
Meanwhile, QSD-aligned sources accused Damascus-backed groups of disregarding humanitarian laws, stating, ‘These brutal actions demonstrate a complete disregard for human rights. We hold the opposing side responsible for any consequences.’
