Israeli Army Intensifies Efforts to Recruit Jewish Youth Abroad Amid Severe Manpower Shortage

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli military is intensifying efforts to recruit Jewish youth from outside the occupied territories to compensate for a severe manpower deficit. Israeli media reports reveal that the army is compelling young Jews, particularly those aged 21 to 26 who have surpassed the usual conscription age, to enlist.
The Zionist media outlet Israel Hayom reported that the Israeli army, in coordination with the Jewish Agency and the Immigration and Absorption Department, has taken unprecedented steps as part of the second phase of its recruitment strategy. The initiative aims to address a critical shortage of 12,000 reserve personnel, including 7,500 soldiers.
Israel Hayom further noted that the military is grappling with a dwindling reserve force and continuous attrition due to resignations among active personnel. The report underscores the army’s struggle to maintain operational capacity amid these challenges.
