Israeli Airstrike on Bint Jbeil Kills Two in Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, an Israeli drone dropped a sonic bomb on the Khallat Warde area in the town of Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon. Simultaneously, Lebanese sources reported that another Israeli drone targeted the area between the towns of Kfardounine and Khirbet Selm. The attack on a residential building in Khirbet Selm, located in the Bint Jbeil district, resulted in the deaths of two individuals.
These actions by Tel Aviv are part of a series of repeated violations by the Israeli regime against the ceasefire agreement established last year between Lebanon and Israel. Over a year has passed since the agreement intended to halt Israel’s military actions against Lebanon, yet the reality on the ground has been marked by continuous attacks and thousands of breaches of the truce.
Despite its daily aggressions in southern Lebanon, the Israeli regime, backed by the U.S., is pressuring Beirut to advance a plan for disarming Hezbollah.
