Spanish Prime Minister Condemns US Military Action Against Venezuela, Seeks Ukraine Ceasefire

Speaking on Tuesday, Sanchez also revealed his intention to convene with Spanish parliamentary groups in the coming weeks to discuss Spain‘s potential role in brokering a ceasefire in Ukraine.
Sanchez expressed hope for a swift agreement to end the conflict in Ukraine, urging Russian President Vladimir Putin to accept such a resolution. The Spanish leader voiced particular concern over events in Venezuela, describing the US military action as setting a dangerous precedent that threatens global stability. He attributed these developments to motives of economic interest in Venezuela’s oil and natural resources.
