Colombia Condemns U.S. Over Venezuela Red Line Violations

Colombia’s Foreign Minister has accused the U.S. of crossing red lines in Venezuela, while reaffirming readiness to mediate dialogue for regional stability.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Colombia‘s Foreign Minister, Yolanda Villavicencio, stated that her country is prepared to facilitate dialogue in Venezuela to achieve agreements ensuring stability. In an interview with Al Jazeera, she condemned U.S. President Donald Trump’s threats against Colombia, calling them a violation of national sovereignty. Villavicencio expressed deep concern over unilateral actions in Venezuela that have disregarded established red lines. She noted that while Caribbean nations hold differing views on Venezuela, none support armed conflict.
