Taliban Spokesman Urges Pakistan to Refrain from Threatening Rhetoric
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid strongly criticized recent remarks by Pakistan’s military spokesperson, labeling them as irresponsible and inflammatory. Mujahid, representing Afghanistan’s caretaker government, urged Pakistani authorities to avoid deviating from official positions and instead concentrate on resolving their internal challenges.
Mujahid emphasized Afghanistan’s status as an independent and stable nation, highlighting its robust security infrastructure and strong leadership. He asserted Afghanistan’s complete sovereignty over its entire territory and made it unequivocally clear that any interference in Afghanistan’s internal affairs or use of threatening language would be unacceptable to the Afghan people.
The Taliban spokesman concluded by calling on Pakistani institutions to adopt a more responsible approach in light of the sensitive bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries, urging them to refrain from making ill-considered statements.
