Macron Seeks Urgent Talks with Putin Amid Renewed Diplomatic Contacts

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron stated in an interview with France 2 television that he intends to engage in talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the earliest opportunity. Macron stressed that matters need to be addressed promptly, with communications already being reestablished and discussions expected to take place in the coming weeks.
The French president underscored the urgency of the call, insisting it should occur without delay. Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov indicated Moscow’s readiness for dialogue if Macron is willing. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the Kremlin would provide updates upon receiving a formal request from the Élysée Palace.
