Venezuela’s Interim President Vows Unyielding Defense Against US Aggression

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Venezuela‘s interim President Delcy Rodríguez has reaffirmed the nation’s resolve to defend its sovereignty against external threats. In a televised speech, Rodríguez emphasized the Venezuelan people’s indomitable spirit, stating, ‘We are an unyielding people.’
Rodríguez paid tribute to those killed in the US military incursion into Venezuela and vowed continued resistance. ‘Our armed forces will powerfully defend our sovereignty, security, and constitution,’ she declared.
The interim president also addressed recent comments by US President Donald Trump regarding Washington’s intention to oversee Caracas until elections are held. ‘The Venezuelan government is not under the control of any foreign power,’ Rodríguez asserted.
The United States launched a military incursion into Venezuelan territory on January 3, abducting the country’s legitimate president, Nicolás Maduro. Since then, Washington has attempted to portray Caracas as having surrendered, claiming Maduro’s successors now follow its directives.
