Yemeni Official Accuses Saudi Arabia of War Crimes in Southern Yemen

Hani bin Brik, Vice President of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council, has accused Saudi Arabia of committing war crimes in Yemen, warning of immediate and future consequences.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hani bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, has launched a scathing attack on Saudi Arabia, accusing the kingdom of betrayal and breaching agreements. Bin Brik asserted that Saudi Arabia has targeted both the people and leaders of the Southern Transitional Council, employing airstrikes and what he described as ‘terrorist tools’ to commit war crimes. He emphasized that these actions would not break the resistance of Yemen‘s southern leadership or its people.

The Saudi-led coalition reported early Wednesday that Aidarous al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, fled to an undisclosed location following approximately 15 Saudi airstrikes on the Zubaidi region in Dhale, southern Yemen. The attacks resulted in over 25 casualties, including women and children.
