Joulani Army Declares War Against Syrian Democratic Forces in Aleppo
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Joulani Army’s operations command in Syria has issued a warning to civilians in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah neighborhoods of Aleppo, urging them to immediately vacate areas held by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The command accused the SDF of escalating tensions and committing massacres against civilians.
The military forces of Joulani declared Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah as closed military zones starting at 3 PM local time today. Concurrently, a surge in civilian evacuations from Aleppo to other regions has been reported. The Aleppo Civil Defense confirmed the evacuation of families from several neighborhoods in the city.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported renewed clashes around the Ashrafiyah and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods. The Joulani Army’s operations command stated that all SDF military positions in these areas are now considered legitimate targets.
Additionally, the Joulani Army declared the Al-Awared and Al-Zuhour crossings as secure until 3 PM, after which it announced the commencement of military operations in these two regions.
