Yemen Warns Zionist Regime Over Hostile Moves in Somaliland

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemen has issued a stern warning to the Zionist regime following Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar’s visit to Somaliland. Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulwahab Abu Ras reiterated Yemen’s firm stance in supporting Somalia’s sovereignty and stability, declaring that any Zionist presence in Somaliland would be considered a legitimate military target for Yemen’s armed forces.
Abu Ras emphasized that Sa’ar’s trip aligns with the regime’s broader strategy to establish Somaliland as a base for hostile activities against Somalia and regional nations. He warned that such actions undermine regional security and pose a direct threat to the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and international maritime navigation.
The Yemeni official stated that any Zionist presence in Somaliland crosses Yemen’s red lines, asserting that alliances with the regime would only bring disgrace and complications to involved parties. These remarks came after diplomatic sources confirmed Sa’ar’s official visit to Hargeisa, the breakaway region’s capital, marking his first trip since the Zionist regime recognized Somaliland’s sovereignty.
Sources indicate the visit aimed to advance political and strategic cooperation between the Zionist regime and Somaliland, including discussions about establishing an Israeli military base in the region.
