Heavy Attacks by Jolani Forces on QSD Amid Fierce Resistance from Syrian Kurds
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, heavy artillery attacks by Jolani forces targeted QSD positions in the Al-Zuhur neighborhood of Aleppo, as reported by Al Jazeera. Simultaneously, the QSD stated that Damascus forces heavily shelled the Sheikh Maqsoud and Al-Ashrafiyah districts in Aleppo.
The QSD emphasized that their forces are engaged in intense resistance to repel the attacks and defend the Sheikh Maqsoud and Al-Ashrafiyah neighborhoods. Earlier, Jolani forces had urged civilians in these areas to distance themselves from QSD positions.
The Syrian Army announced that the Al-Awared and Al-Zuhur Street crossings, familiar to locals, would remain open as safe humanitarian passages until 3 PM today. It also declared Sheikh Maqsoud and Al-Ashrafiyah as closed military zones, warning civilians to avoid QSD positions. A full movement ban in these areas will be enforced from 3 PM today.
